Avant tout, deux choses : quelques \u00e9l\u00e9ments sont autant barr\u00e9s que dans <em>Watershed<\/em> et les <em>growls<\/em> sont de nouveau pr\u00e9sents, accentuant les passages les plus brutaux. Le chant naturel est, comme toujours, remarquable et franchement superbe. Les guitares, ardentes, ass\u00e8nent une palanqu\u00e9e de riffs surpuissants et des soli de folie, des leitmotivs entre m\u00e9lodies et dissonances. Invit\u00e9 pour le moins illustre, Ian Anderson pose sa fl\u00fbte enchant\u00e9e sur trois titres. On peut \u00e9galement observer, de temps \u00e0 autre, plusieurs parures orchestrales, et surtout, de magnifiques parties de piano, notamment celles avec un son de Fender Rhodes. Quant \u00e0 la basse et la batterie, c\u2019est un floril\u00e8ge de tempos contrast\u00e9s, de breaks opportuns, d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations imp\u00e9tueuses. Difficile n\u00e9anmoins d&rsquo;illustrer la richesse exceptionnelle de cette musique, sa diversit\u00e9 erratique.
